SINUMERIK ONE Fast I/O and PIP-NCK

Hello Everyone,

In the S7-1500 it is possible to allocate Process Image Partitions (PIP) for OBs and I/Os. For example PIP2 or PIP3. It it also possible to allocate "PIP-NCK" for I/Os and Sinamics Telegrams. But I have not been able to find any information detailing the PIP-NCK like how it is use, update rates, size limitations and just any general, or specific information at all. I also believe that when I want to use the Fast I/Os, the Inputs and Output on the NCU itself, I need to allocate the PIP-NCK to these I/Os, but again I haven't been able to find any information about it.

If anyone has any information on the SINUMERIK ONE PIP-NCK / Fast I/Os, could you please share it?

Hi Thomas,

The PIP NCK used to config drives i.e S120, S210 with cycle time 2ms. You can find some info in the SINUMERIK STEP 7 Toolbox
