I'm adding a water meter for the irrigation system. The output of the water meter is 1 gal/pulse dry contact. I created an LPACI point but is showing as Failed. We have another similar meter to measure make up water and that's also an LPACI point and it is reading fine. Both points are in the same PXC modular. What am I missing? |

Try "copy current" in point editor when you have the point that works opened. Change the point name and address to what you want and then save the point. If it still shows up failed it sounds like your wiring is incorrect. In my experience you should only have to put the wires into the ground + switch leg of the module. Depending on the meter it may require power but I doubt it. |
