I want to create a back up an existing HMI that is currently being used on a piece of equipment and I am reaching out for help with this. I'm super Siemens Greenhorn.  I am using an older discontinued HMI #6AV6642-0DC01-1AX1. What is the best way to effectively back up the HMI file so I can put that saved file into another exact model HMI?

I tried a 4gb memory card.  Your saying that I need to use a 512kB, did you mean 512mB?  does it have to be one from siemens? Like this one?

Not a SINAMICS Card, a SIMATIC MMC card can be used (FAT32). 

A smaller SD card should be used, due to Windows CE limitations.

sorry, you are right, MB instead of kB. If you want to use Siemens SD card: 6AV6671-8XB10-0AX1
