(Yellow) memory module on LOGO! pure (no display - 0BA5 - 12/24RCo)

JetXpert Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have developed an application with a PC for a version 5 12/24RCo (no display). My customer and the end user do not want to get involved in any programming, yet I want them to have a backup in case the unit fails and needs to be reprogrammed. I bought some yellow eprom modules, and cannot figure out how to 'program' them without having a display on my LOGO! The manual states that an 'empty' LOGO!-pure will suck the program from the eprom module at power up, but how do I get it on the module in the first place? Once the module would be programmed, and I modify the application through the PC+cable, how would I get the LOGO!-pure to overwrite the previous program on the eprom module? If the only way is to buy a new LOGO! (with display) for this purpose only, do I need an exact copy (i.e. also buy the expansion modules I used) of the original?

JetXpert Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	The original application uses a DM16 expansion module. If I buy a LOGO! with display to program a memory module, will the application download, despite the fact that there will be no expansion module present?
