TIA Portal V14 Online monitoring problem

Hi,

I am having an issue with Tia Portal V14.  When I try to monitor the plc program it will show the ladder network but it is as if the FC isnt being run as if it isnt being called, however I know it must be as the program is running but I dont get the states of the bits or anything showing in a different colour.  If I modify a bit that all works correctly and the bit is modified but it doesn't show.  When I go online all the blocks have the green circle next to them showing the block is the same offline as online so I am struggling to understand why this is doing what it is doing?  This is working perfectly in V13 when going on line on the same laptop.  

Any help would be very much appreciated.

As all monitoring function are running, there is no problem. I have experienced similar problems even for STEP-7. May be this is due to RAM of laptop. However u can check by reducing number of monitoring windows simultaneously.

I have experienced some really bad issues on V14.

The PLCSIM doesn't work as expected (I made a few posts about it).

The Online Monitor functions also. When I have just downloaded a block or function to the PLC it appears as different online and project version, even if just downloaded and when mark to download again it says "No blocks need to be downloaded". I had to "pump" the download a few times so I could use the monitor function.

I have also seen some issues on boolean branchs (scl if) which on the monitor I couldn't see which branch was executed.

This all on V14. On V13 there are minor issues.

 I have tried going online with V13 on the same laptop and it works perfectly it is just V14 that doesn't seem to want to work so is definatly a Tia portal issue not a laptop issue (Laptop is pretty much brand new also)!
