Read byte in ModBus and convert byte to bit

I have the controller PXC001.E.D and the reverse osmosis controller CCT 8320. I want to read data from the controller, reverse osmosis system, 2 separate status byte. Next, we must expand the status byte bits. How to take bytes in PXC001.E.D? The functions BI and AI is not fit for service. If this feature MI? How to set the ModBus address of the variable?

If you work in PCS7 you can use from APL library FbDiIn Digital input driver for field devices (FB1815). under Channel Family.

Then for bits to byte use BO_BY under Convert Family.
