Hello,

Today I tried to start the PLCSIM for the first time with V14 (SP1). I didn't succeed. It gives an error message The S7-PLCSIM project could not be created error message number is 0626:000009. I also tried to start the PLCSIM individually from the windows start menu but nothing happens, that doesn't even give any error messages.

What could I try?

I think it is possible that you need another windows update on a 64bit System with the number KB2999226.

Thank you for your help, but that didn't help.

I'll try to uninstall and install the PLCSIM again, let's see what happens.

I didn't noticed the last reply.

What I did was that I "normally" uninstalled PLCSIM V14 SP1, I didn't delete any files or folders, I restarted my laptop, then I installed PLCSIM V14 SP1 again, restarted and now PLCSIM seems to be working.

Hi Guys,

I had the same problem with V14 and V15 PLCSIM not loading correctly i have found that the installation had reset the compatibility fomat of both SIM's to Vista instead of Windows 7.

Go to the desk top and right click the SIM short cut and set as the Pic attached, do this for both or all SIMS. Provided you run Windows 7 that is.

if you had installed a older version (V14) before please delete the Programdata\..\PLCSIM folder before you install the V14 SP1 again.
