How to to get the instance name of the faceplate container inside the script of the faceplate?

For our application we have multiple faceplate containers with the same faceplate type. We would like to get the instance name of the faceplate container inside the script of the faceplate. Then we could dynamically create the tag names. We've tried to read the "name" property inside our script but it doesn't returns the instance name. It will only returns the faceplate type.The DisplayName property could only be set in the faceplate itself and not in the instance.

Because we could only connect a tag to the interface, we could create a tag (WString) and connect it to the faceplate container but it requires some extra space and time. Maybe there is another way of doing this?

Basically we would like to create the functionality of a tag prefix.

Additionally i've tried the following:

Add a text label in the faceplate and tried to modify the text of the label in the faceplate container call. unfortunate this isn't working either.

I am in the same situation even now that is Updated to V17 and has a lot of improvements.

Faceplates section is still very limited, I am trying to perform a Toggle Open operation with Faceplates in Popup mode to avoid opening at the same time another instance.

As a mid term solution I propose this:

Pass through Tag Interface the Instance Name of the element as String. You can get it with the built in siemens function GetInstanceName(0).

Then go to the Global Definition area and create an empty Object:

 Afterwards in the button used to OpenFaceplateAsPopup:

This is the code I put on the my pump faceplate invisible button:

In the Tag interface of the pump faceplate I created one STRUCT and connected it to the UDT of the PLC block for pump. 

This command reads out name of the element from DB (pump name) and puts it in the popup window that is opened when I click on the pump symbol on the screen.

This does not work perfect on the real panel, but on the Web client it works good.
