At school here in the Netherlands, they don't even teach it i noticed. But soner or later you must learn it, because some things only work in stl or less code is generated. Regards, Marcjan

Wenn we talking abou Floating - Point operation, we are not on the "absolute beginner" level anymore. To do AND ad OR ect., there I dont like STL also, but arithmetic operations mostly are easier and faster done in STL.

But in this case whe don't know the excact aplication, so lets wait for more information from T.S., otherwise whe end up in a intresting but not helpfull discussion Marcjan
