Hello. I have done this project once. Consider: if you use two motors bench, you always need a double energizer and double sided equipment for testing. Choices: motor on the bench can be loaded with air (too large construction), with oil pumps or, for example: with an induction load. I chose an inductive load, with a gearbox and stop/ safety brake. It is a induction brake used on trucks, machinery, etc. It works on rotation, so a gearbox is necessary. I used a two-speed (1:2, 1:6) gearbox (+ freewheel position). So it was possible to test motors from IEC 70 to IEC320; and 2 or up to 12 poles. Of course, it is possible to use very different parts and in very different price ranges on this project. Principle of induction brake: Link ; Good luck.. |
