Conversion from DC motor to equivalent AC motor.

PBS Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, I have to replace DC motor by AC servo motor for feed roll application. So please guide me how to select equivalent AC servo motorfor the said application. Existing DCmotor is of 37.5 Kw . Also i need to replace 22 Kw ,1460 rpm, 40 A, 415 V induction motor by Suitable AC servo motor for feed roll application. So please guide me... Regards PBS

But even a motor selection by operation point data is possible. Additional all necessary componets likePM, MoMo and cabling will be set. The help function will get you closer to the tool. Sizer give me the suitable AC motor from the data which i feed in sizer, but my problem is how to work out the equivalent torque & other ratings of AC motor which are suitable for available DC motor. Starting torque of AC & DC motor is different...
