Issues with Siwarex WP321manual calibration

I made a precary scale with 3 1kg cells. Here is my DR03 config: When using "set calibration point 1" with an aproximate load of 195 grams, the gross value isn't set to 0.195, it stays at an arbitrary value. I also have other issue where, depending on calibration values, pressing down on the scales makes values go into negative territory.

When the error occurred, then: DO NOTHING AND create a Siwatool-file. Attached you can find a pdf-file how to create a Siwatool file. Post your Siwatool file here in the Forum. Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 8/26/2025 Posts: 1190 Rating: (179)	Hello Agustin Ordoñez, The issue is, when you put a load on the scale, the load cell signal has to increase. But on your scale, the load cell signal is decreasing. You can see that in Siwatool into the DR31 at the parameter “Current load cell signal (mV)”. Do this test, please: Check the parameter “Current load cell signal (mV)” in DR31, when your scale is empty. After that, put your calibration weight on the scale. Now, the load cell signal (mV)” has to increase. If not, then there is something wrong with your load cells! You also wrote already in your first post: “I also have other issue where, depending on calibration values, pressing down on the scales makes values go into negative territory.” => This is the issue for your calibration! These values are only factory settings! Therefore, I can’t see the issue! Please execute the command “Set calibration point 1 (61)” in Siwatool once again, when your calibration weight of 195 grams is on the scale. When the error occurred, then: DO NOTHING (= let the calibration weight on the scale) AND create a Siwatool-file. Attached you can find a pdf-file how to create a Siwatool file. Just need to add some more weight! Now I am having issue with the real scale (3 30tons cells). I am trying to calibrate with my body weight right now and I get the same issue. When your load cells have 1 mV/V, you need at least a calibration weight of 4% of the nominal load of all load cells. In your case: 3x 30 tons x 4% = 3.6 tons When your load cells have 2 mV/V, you need at least a calibration weight of 2% of the nominal load of all load cells. In your case: 3x 30 tons x 2% = 1.8 tons When your load cells have 4 mV/V, you need at least a calibration weight of 1% of the nominal load of all load cells. In your case: 3x 30 tons x 1% = 0.9 tons Best regards Siwarexi
