New WinCC 8 installation. Project could not be created

When I want to create a new project I get following window: Open WinCC Project. The system cannot find the file specified. When I click Ok. I get this: Error Project could not be created. The windows user have administrator rights. How can I solve this? Is seems like WinCC does not have permission to write to the drive?

It is likely that some of the components were not installed correctly or were damaged. It would be advisable to install a clean image and reinstall the software.

Hello nikhilsathya In your case it could also be the reason that Win11 24H2 is not released with WinCC V7.5 SP2, only up to 23H2 is released and tested. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/64847781 Bye Murof
