Automation license manager (0086:000001) problem with Tia Portal v17

konrad_x00 Joined: 12/13/2024 Last visit: 5/27/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with Tia Portal v17, after opening a project and turning on any block with the program (except the database - it opens normally without any problems) the program crashes the cursor indicates that the program is working but nothing happens, and after about 10min the message “Automation license manager (0086:000001)” pops up. The same situation happens if I want to add a device in the current project and also when creating a new project. I have seen that for some people the problem was solved by running Tia Portal as an administrator, but for me this way does not work. I'm using Windows 11 and yesterday everything worked properly and today the program stopped working, I don't know if this could be due to some system update or to look for the cause somewhere else? qwazee Platinum Expert Joined: 3/30/2020 Last visit: 12/11/2025 Posts: 5656 Rating: (1083)	Check if Microsoft has updated your Windows 11. Specifically updating from variant 23H2 to 24H2. This may be a cause for your problems. Step back the update if you can. System Restore may be worth trying. Otherwise I would suggest you create a Support Request.
