Good morning, I'm unable to run the simulation with PLC SIM in TIA Portal V20, neither with the trial version installed on the PC nor with the TIA Portal Cloud trial version. I get the same error in both. It opens PLCSim, finds the PLC in the TIA, but when I click on "load," it says "error downloading to module cpu common," that PLCSim can't start, and then the "General" window says: "Loading of hw configuration failed (0050 2 2 2458). When I try to access the diagnostic window, it says there's a server error. I'd appreciate some help.

Thanks for your answer, but in the cloud I don´t have to install nothing, it's like a virtual machine with the software installed by Siemens, and I have the same problem. Perhaps is the configuration, but I don´t find what is wrong…

Ok then cheking your PC time is set corretcly

In TIAV20 I think it's very important with certificates you must generate to plc, to run PLCSIM

Facing with the same issue with a standalone instance on my PC. 
The helper page says a couple of things, but I cannot really guess how to move forward as the hardware is being simulated. Couldn't be able to make it work.

What I've tried so far:

- Updating v20 and components to the latest release available

- Creating a project from blank slate, using a CPU1215/DV/DC/DC (FW.:4.7); OB1 is called but empty
