Reading Alarms in VB Scripts of WinCC flexible

I'm using VBScripts in my WinCC project and in those scripts I'll have to read the properties of (current or even gone) alarms.How can I access and/or read from the alarm archive using VBScript? Is this possible at all? Is there another possibility of analysing alarms in the scripts that have just occurred? Thanks a lot for your help in advance. Yours Dominik

Now you can analyse thebit about "positivedge or a negativ edge". analog to the following FAQ => http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22582393 Maby this could be a solution. greeting

I'd like to know if there is any possibility to read an alarm property. If you - for example - want to read a variable you can use the smarttags If SmartTag("Variable_1") = True Then ...... End if Can something like this be used for the alarms as well? If yes, how does it work? I've already experienced that SmartTags and alarms (e.g. SmartTag("Bit number 1") ) don't get along with each other. How else can I access the properties of alarms? Apart from that, can I- for instance - get/read the times when an alarm's come and gone? Or can I get the alarm text by just using vbscript?? Thanks a lot Yours Dominik
