Kahl - you are very correct in what you say. The trouble is however something else. If the manual controls are not fully visible / on top of everything else, the control is disengaged. It is even more sensitive with later versions of TIA Portal than before. It has nothing to do with the version of motion control blocks used. It is especially troublesome when using a PC that does not have a full HD screen resolution. Some notes, hints and ideas are included into the attached picture. This is required to be able to stop the axis any time. When you do it anyway the axis is stopped when the focus changes not really in the TIA Axis Control panel! If you have the Control and set the Enable you can also go to a already open DB and insert new lines, no influence to the axis control Panel, enable always hold!

Can you tell us more about the drive you use , which HW do you use which state have the controled drive? Regards Christoph
