Masterdrive tripping on F011 fault

Atitude007 Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	I have 840D CNC unit, with this I am using Simens masterdrive 6SE7033-2EG60. I am using this drive for spindle motor. Sometime I am facing a problem that when spindle motor start its deacceleration time, Drive get trip on F011 fault (Overcurret). I have checked it Dynamic breaking resistance, it seems ok. Before tripping drive display shows A020 alarm, after that it get trip. In whole cycle drive and motor run smoothly, but only at stopping time, when drive start its deaccelaration time, drive get trip. I have 02 same machines and I am facing same problem in both machine that drive get trip at start of deacceleration time only. Sometime machine runs smoothly but sometimes it create this fault after 4-5 cycle. Since a long time I am facing this problem. Also incoming supply voltage is 410 VoltAC. I have separated the encoder cable also.

If this has been happening for a long time on both machines, then we can assume the problem is most likely parameters, But . . . . . can you also quote the part numbers of the braking modules AND the part numbers of the braking resistors so we can check if these are correctly rated for your drive. Can you tell me what is the value in the following parameters: P100 (Control Mode) = (I assume 4) P515 (VDC Reg) = (If you have braking modules, this should be 0) P462 (Decel Ramp) = These are just to get a sense of the dynamism of the spindle and if there is any adaptation . . . . P235.1 = P236.1 = P238.1 = P240.1 = How crucial is the deceleration time i.e. is there a fast transition between spindle speeds in your programs? If we lengthened the deceleration ramp times, then this may overcome some of your problems. Have your spindles been overhauled/bearings checked etc. When the decel ramp is started, any significant backlash could be detected as overcurrent via the encoder feedback. Regards, Graeme
