Hi legends, One of our micromaster 440 is running a 22kw pump. The frequency reference is through Analog setpoint 1 and is set at 35Hz. During the operation it dropped to 17Hz. Tested the voltage at Analog setpoint and it is 5.2V as supposed to be. When I restarted the pump it ramped up to 35Hz what took more then tripple time then the ramp up time. Any ideas. Thanks |

A 22kW asynchronous motor will draw in the region of 38Amperes, check this from the Micromaster display, and the 'current limit' for the inverter drive. If the current is high the display will flash A0501, current limit, and then limit the out frequency to reduce an overcurrent. If this is a centrifugal pump, current may be dictated by the speed, and any valve closure or flow restriction. For positive displacement devices, the pumping medium will have an effect on the current drawn by the motor. If you can come back with detail regarding the system, we can help further with this. Thanks mate, I haven't seen any sort of alarm on the display. It is just showing frequency output. I did check the valves its open. I usualy keep the valve locked out. If some one close the valve its makes the VSD to go in fault. I ll check the current limit parameter and may be the last fault as well. Regards |
