Gavin3000 Regular Member Joined: 6/19/2013 Last visit: 11/21/2025 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello All, On two occasions over the last 8 months, we have had a client PLC stop due to the following error: Data corruption in safety program before output to F I/O Event: Event 5 of 500: Event ID 16# 457F STOP caused by STOP command FB number: 1500 Module address: 15588 Previous operating mode: RUN Requested operating mode: STOP (internal) Internal error, Incoming event 01:15:27.646 PM 10/07/2016 (Coding: 16# 457F FF84 8E00 0B22 05DC 3CE4) Event 6 of 500: Event ID 16# 75D6 Data corruption in safety program before output to F I/O logic standard address: 106 output offset: 0.1 Number of the F-I/O data blocks: 1506 previous operating mode: RUN requested operating mode: STOP Internal error, Incoming event 01:15:27.642 PM 10/07/2016 (Coding: 16# 75D6 9F84 C47A 05E2 006A 0001) Looking through the software I have determined that it might be because of a write to a memory marker in the safety program, a network before we attempt to write to the safety output highlighted in the event log above. *See Attached Image* This memory marker is also read within the standard program. I am asking really for confirmation that this could violate safety integrity and stop the PLC. The code has been compiled with the following Step 7 software: Step 7 Pro Version: 5.5.4.0_31.1.0.1 S7 Distributed Safety Programming Version: 5.4.5.0_3.5.0.2 Thank you for your assistance.
