Reduce web page complexity / size, reduce web page size, eliminate images, use 8-bit images rather than high quality images, and use shorter web page jscript variable names.

I am assuming you are using jscript, and perhaps a full ajax configuration.  That is not appropriate.  Check Siemens support site for using web servers on s7-1200 with ajax style dynamic web pages.

Hello everyone !

I have some issue after generating my Web server. I've configured in the web server parameters>Advanced>Web DB number from 333 to 334. But when i "Generate blocks" he created too much DB (from 333 to 390).

Because of it, my Load memory is overloaded (from 2MB to 7 748 064 bytes).

How can I limit the creation of Web server's DB ?

Another solution is to build the web site using a small industrial PC with a custom backend that is constantly transferring data over UDP (if that PC can be directly connected to the PC - without a network switch or router).

UDP is very lightweight and the s7-1200 can send data via UDP at around 20-25 Hz very reliably.  Above that, and you start having random packet loss or drop-outs or wildly varying PLC scan time - which can affect some processes.

You might consider installing a Siemens HMI basic panel, unless the web site needs to be remotely accessed.  In that case, you might look into other ways to reach that industrial PC, like VNC (for internal -- on site -- use only), or Citrix or similar remote access technology.

Definitely - do not put an s7-1200 on the public internet.
