I have WinCC Unified V17 RT on a VM that is communicating with TCSB via OPCUA.

I am finding that this works great for values being read from the server but that I cannot write from the RT to it.

Has anyone came across this? Strangely if I set up a Comfort Panel on the same machine this can read and write with no issues.

I have disabled the firewall on my VM which allowed the read direction to work. I am wondering if there may be a specific change I need to make to the fire wall settings for the Unified RT to be able to write out on OPCUA.

normally this type of behavior is related to tag properties in OPC UA server. Did you tried to use UA Expert to write the same variables?

Yes I have tried this and am seeing the same thing. With UA Expert I can read from the TCSB OPCUA but not write any of the values that are set up as writable (Analogue outputs in the CP card data points). I get a BadData or similar error.

However if I set up a Comfort panel and run it in simulation on the same PC, I can read and write. Further to this I can read and write from UA Expert after I have done this once on the Comfort panel
