HMI runtime error configured database type does not match the database installed on the target device

timothée_declercq154 Joined: 3/18/2024 Last visit: 9/2/2025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm trying to deploy a WinCC Unified v20 project with a Microsoft SQL database, the license has been filled in correctly, my RT PC is configured in V20 in my device configuration. I can deploy my project in simulation mode. However, when I deploy my project on my server runtime I always get this error : "HMI runtime error configured database type does not match the database installed on the target device" Does anyone know where the problem might be coming from? Thanks :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Fault: The confIgured device does not match the target device.

It will not work to install the SQL Server manually, the settings for SQL Server Logging works only with the Unified Database storage option (license and installation) Bye Murof
