Hi P1V1, In WinCC Unified, faceplates are always typed elements. They can only reference the default data types and other typed elements within the library. This is why you cannot use tags defined within your Unified device. However, if one type of faceplate is used inside another, the 'inner' type will inherit the parts of the tag interface that correspond to those of the 'outer' type. This is usually achieved using user data types. Please refer to the information system for an example. Kind regards |
