Common DC bus fed from both sides? DCP/DCN

daynada Experienced Member Joined: 5/6/2010 Last visit: 8/28/2025 Posts: 90 Rating: (6)	If I have a block of connected booksizedrives that have a totalFLA of 180A can I feed the DC bus from both sides to accomodate the limiting 100A bus bar? Do I size (AWG)the DC Bus wires (via the DC link adapters/Line module) the same as the FLA of the motors (regardless of the scenario above)? What is the difference between the Multi-tier DC link adapter versus the DC link rectifier adapter? I'm not sure what is meant by "multi-tier." Can 200A busbar Motor Modules be connected (modular) to the 100A busbar Motor Modules? Thanks in advance.
