Hoisting for Sinamics

gnemrak Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi all, i'm transitioning over from simoreg to sinamics and we use the drive for hoisting with dc motor. We have an option board call T300 on simoreg for calculation of load and speed. Meaning to say we hoist up faster (field weakening) without load and rated speed at full load.. i would like to know how i can implement it on sinamic? do we have optional technology boards for sinamics or do i need to find other ways to implement it? Also, i found out we need a starter which replaces the drive ES in our S7 while reading through the forums. So i did more reading but if anyone have any extra resources for a beginner like me for sinamics, i would be very thankful if you would direct me to it. Thanks! gen

I googled and found a manual, will read it in a bit. Usually we have 2 components to T300, The hardware comm card and the software chip which we have to install into the card. Does DCC require me to buy additional components or hardware/software? thanks again

The DCC Software is a part of the STARTER installation (you have to activate it).
