System: PCS7 v8.0 SP2

CPU: 410-5H single , FW 8.1.0

Any ideas what happend here? see attached diagnostics export, trouble starts at event 289.

There is a total of 7cpus in the project, three of these are 410-5H and the rest 416, all of the 410 cpus have had this problem atleast once. 

The cpu goes in to Defective mode and triggers a complete memory reset. The powersupply is healthy.

System is legacy so siemens is not very helpful, guess we got to upgrade..

Some point are strange to me, i hope experts can help,

After going to defective mode(event 289), the time of cpu is illegal (events 288 &287) ( may be Rtc ?)

At Event 286 ( Memory reset due to inconsistent data) time

of cpu is apparently normal( about 4 min. After defection).

More than one hour later:

The first try to startup (events 278&287) is prevented due to      " loading user program or internal inconsistency detected (SDBs less than 200 incomplete, superfluous, or incorrect)"

Event 277 : "inconsistency in the configuration data occurred when checking Parameters for internal consistency No consistency entries assignable Error type: Time stamps of the loaded parameter fields do not match"

 If i were, try to check consistency ( specially in hwconfig). Compile all and entire download. And wait for next defection if occured or not.

hi,

Not sure why you say "legacy" this controller is still fairly new.

can you try the following:

1. Remove the batteries from the PS.

2.press and hold the Reset on the CPU ( screwdriver or pin) for 5s, the INT F light will flash, then go steady and the CPU will Reset itself to factory.

3.Redownload your project.

hopefully it will work for you.
