Hello Arun; First, Siemens is one of the largest purveyors of locomotives in Europe, and I know that they are also very important in the Indian transportation system. But human transportation is ahighly standardized world, with very restrictive norms and its own type of signaling (which is why you will find S7-400 modules with 125 VDC I/O, so they can be used in train signaling applications). Siemens has a separate division from A&D, Transportation, that produces specialized components and controls for its locomotives. You canfind a lot more information here: http://www.transportation.siemens.com/ts/en/pub/products/lm.htm Check out the Components link, you might find it interesting. Hope this helps, Daniel chartier |
