How to run Wincc Runtime in IPC 647E from an integrated project

The project integrated in Step 7 was migrated too. Now the new IPC is in Step 7 5.7, Wincc 2008 sp5. My question is: How can I start the wincc runtime in this new IPC? I mean, I copy the integrated project to this newer IPC, then I open the winncc flexible project (This IPC has wincc flexible for development and runtime package, in the same system). Need I then to download the wincc project to the own IPC? Or just plug the cable, configure the PG/PC interface, the network board with the IP in the correct range and is it done? Because if was an external HMI for example, it is logical to proceed with download the project, but in this case, the IPC already has the project...

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 14127 Rating: (1769)	Hello SpikeStart If your engineering station is the same system as your WInCC flexible runtime station then just open the WinCC flexibel runtime loader and activate the ethernet channel and activate the transfer mode in WInCC flexible do a download to localhost or your ip address. This should work like loading a panel or a runtime to another PC(I used it also a lot of times). Bye Murof
