To see in which WinCC flexible Version the HMI project was programmed the last time you can do the following steps:

open the *.hmi file in the project folder\HMIES\... with a text editor (for example notepad) and use the search function  and search for "Edition:"

then you should find a list of all the versions this project was programmed with. the newest in this List is the last one.

But you have to look which Step7 Version you are running at the moment... you have to be sure that this is compatible to the used WinCC flexible Version and also to the used OS version on your engineering system. So use : Compatibility Tool
