Maene3 Experienced Member Joined: 5/27/2008 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	I've configured a"pop-up" (=fixed window in WinCCflexible...)for a motor in my template screen. In the other screens i have the ability to call this "popup" with a bit "visible/not visible". This works fine, but the only problem is that the "popup" window is always shown after the objects configured in the other screens. I know that if I place it in the window itself and in a higher layer, that it will "popup" before the other objects. But this absolutely not practical if you use the same "popup" in many screens. Is there any possibility to bring the template objects in to the front of the regular screens objects (script,...)? I think it has to be possible, because for example an "alarm window" pops up also in front of all the other screens/objects. (PS: Just checking,it is not possible to use popups like in WInnCC, isn't it?)

Today I call SIEMENS specialist and he told me that, "picture in picture" Its impossible in winccflexible... He said that its only possible with faceplate. We cannot change picture size with script. But in winccflexible faceplates, all objects' visibility propertymust be connected to one bool variable. What if I would like to use that oblject's visibility property ? Thats why me and my jobmate written a nice VBScript It could have been like Wincc flexible, but its not. Its so easy to do in wincc with picture window/ dialog box... Maybe SIEMENS workers & experts can comment on about it Best regards,

"Picture in Picture" is only possible in WinCC and not in WinCC flexible. If you want to pop up an object in front of the screen, you have to insert the object in each relevant screen. In this case , when you want to change something to the object, you have tochange it in every screen.

If you don't place an object in front of the normal screen, then you can put that in the Template screen. Another possibility it is to hidethe object or objects in front of the normal screens.Youfind the settingsin the property windowof the object ("Animations > Visibility"). Bye

This will cause it to be the latest hence it will show in front of all others on the same layer. This is true for many many software around in the engineering domain.

Hello Mr.Baig this is not totally correct-> in WinCC flexible Controls (for example trend control or alarm view) and some other screen element will be shown if front of others even if they are noch in the highest layer... Its not that easy to say the latest object is in front... it is also possible to select and change the hierarchie in the used layer Bye Murof
