Hi ChristophD, I know it's too outdated but I just need a favor from you Could you please help me to upgrade OP27 to KP700 Comfort? I have the original Protool Project but I couldn't find WinCC Flexible 2008 anywhere to do the migration. Regards

Hi Atif39, In this case, to be able to perform the screen migration, if you have the project created in Protool, you must migrate it as you indicate to WinCC Flexible 2008 and then you must migrate the project again to TIA Portal, it seems to me that V13 or V14 SP1, which is when you will be able to select the new KP700 Comfort screen. I would recommend that before moving from one version to another you install the latest updates and SPs that are available. Here you will find two main problems: 1. The migration you want to do has many version jumps and, for the same reason, it is not possible for you to migrate all the functionalities that have been added or because they are no longer supported since they have improved. 2. The programs you need are very old and will not be available on SIOS, the Siemens website, since many have been discontinued. Maybe a Siemens salesperson could help you with this. I share a guide that may also help you: "WinCC Migration Guide (TIA Portal)" From my point of view, it may be best to redo the project again since it is likely to be the easiest. Best regards! |
