Hello engineers,

I have an ET200s and some IO module, the output modules include 4 output. In the Hardware configuration I can only change the byte number. as you can see the attached photo, I have a program which the programmer use bits from 4 to 7. But I cant enter bits for other bytes. For example if I insert a new output module I can only use bits 0..3 and not allowed 4..7.

How can I edit bits in Hardware configuration?

The ET 200S allows for a configuration function that Siemens calls "Pack addresses". Have a look at the following FAQ explaining how to do it, and see if this cn fix your problem.
