whenever i store a value to my MW0
my MW1 automatically goes to 512
despite not having initial input value
how do i fix this?

MW0 and MW1 overlaps. MW0 is constructed from MB0 and MB1 which is also M0.0 to M1.7. Then MW1 is constructed from MB1 and MB2 which is also M1.0 to M2.7

MD0 would be constructed from MB0, MB1, MB2 and MB3.

The bits are ordered from right to left and bytes from left to right:

M0.7  ...   M0.0  M1.7  ...  M1.0

 So M1.0 set to TRUE will have
MW0 = 256
MW1 = 1 
MB1 = 1

Best to make a study of the S7-200 system manual which documents all of this nicely. Also consider using V-memory.

We have no idea how your program looks like as a whole. We do not know what MW0 and MW1 represents. We are almost blind to your situation. We see only through the keyhole you provide.

Perhaps you should use MB0 + MB1 instead of MW0 + MW1. Or perhaps you should use MW2 instead of MW1. Or perhaps you use VW1000 instead of MW1

It helps if you create symbol names in the symbol table. The symbol table will tell you if there is overlap.

As said before the bit addresses overlap with the word addressing. Best not to work absolute addresses; give all elements a symbol.

Start by creating some structure. Create multiple symbol tables. One table for inputs and outputs. One table for bit states. One for word memories. every element should have a name.

You can change this format later to be a symbol table per functionality, which is more natural. Like..
-  "master controls" (global controls)
- "user actions"
- "motion states"
- ....

M0.x will overlap with MW0. MW0 overlaps with MW1. Do not worry about that right now. First create symbols for all the elements. Put them in a organized order.. do not use the click on the table column heading to sort the elements!

You can use CTRL-Y to toggle between symbol view and absolute address view. Change to symbol view. Now it is possible to change the MWxx addresses which automatically change the address inside your program.
- MW0 -> VW100 as INT
- MW1 -> VW102 as INT
- MW2 -> VW104 as INT
- MW3 -> VW106 as INT
- MW4 -> VW108 as INT

Changed addresses are examples only. VW{100 + 2 x N} where the 100 is a random choice. You can choose whatever suits your needs.

Delete the INT0 interrupt routine. You do not need it now. Also consider teaching yourself what subroutines are for.

Now continue your program and testing where everything (even timers!) have symbols.
