I am having this same issue. What did you do to fix it? I would like to fix it on my own and not have to give you the logic every time I need it fixed. Additionally, I am going to need an output on my counter. Why does it not have an output?

Good afternoon all

I am currently programming my logo with a simple program. I am using counters but unable to transfer the program because the counters need an output. When i drag and drop the counter on the screen there is no option for an output, but when i go to the help screen it shows there is an output from the counter, has anyone got any suggestions?? Apologies in advance if its something really simple.

Hi,

in LOGO! a signal need a beginning and a completion of a signal. If a signal is not completed you cannot download the program to a LOGO!.

Beginning can be: Input, NAI, AI, NAI and so on
Completition can be: Output, flag, OPEN CONECTOR, AQ, NAQ, ....

However a signal is not completed by default because no one nows where you need the signal.

If this happens in your program you can press F2 and open the status window. Here you can see what you forgot. Here you also see what LOGO! is able to run your program based on the function/features you use in your program.
