Hello,
I have a connection problem between my PC and my logo.
If I connect the PC directly to the Logo I can't communicate with it.

PC IP address: 192.168.0.230
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Logo IP address: 192.168.0.3
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1

It's a Logo 12/24RCE and I'm using version 8.4 of the Logo!SoftComfort software.
The strange thing is that the software detects the Logo. But as soon as I want to go further it's impossible.

Could you please help me? I really can't connect to this Logo. What's more, I've tried it with another computer and I get the same result.

There could be several reasons:

1.- The network cable you use may be damaged.

2.- If the connection is made directly between PC and LOGO! Without any router, make sure your PC is not connected to more networks that have the same gateway 192.168.0.1.

3.- If the connection is made through a router, make sure that no other device uses the IP address of the LOGO! (192.168.0.3)

4.- Use the PING command from your PC to the LOGO! (ping 192.168.0.3)

5.- Use the PING command again, but this time disconnecting the LOGO! (if you still have an answer it may be that another device has the same IP address)

6.- You can use the ipconfig (Windows, apparently it uses Windows 11) or ifconfig (Linux) command to see if your PC is only in a red one and see its IP address. If you see that you have more than one network, make sure the gateway for each network is different.


These are the suggestions I can give you, since I don't have more details about the problem.

Finally I found the reason I didn't use the good version. I was using 8.3 instead of 8.4 this difference was engouh to not establish the connection between my PC -> Logo.
