I have problems I haven't really encountered before. And have a little difficulty solving. I'm a little unsure if this problem is in the right category. but hope one of you can come up with some tips.

• Change the cable between the devices.
  
• Replace the ET 200S
  
• Replace control unit CU240E-2
  
• transferred project again in both in CPU and G120
  

Anyone have any tips on what could be wrong?

Is this a new setup or an older setup that stopped working?

- Have you assigned the device name and IP to each device?

- Have you downloaded the hardware config to the PLC?

- Have you downloaded the configuration to the G120 drives?

It's an old setup that stopped working a week ago.

- I have checked that the IP are correct on all devices.

- I still have the hardware configuration again both before component changes and after.

A colleague has performed troubleshooting before without results. What I was wondering about was when I started troubleshooting, I saw that the G120 had ip 0.0.0.0 in its configuration, and of course thought that this was the error. But after changing to the correct ip, the module is still not available.

 If the device name doesn't match 100% to what you have configured in the hardware config, there is no communication. The device name has to match on the device, to the config, for the comms to be able to work.

PLC - Ethernet - Assign Device Name in HW config solved the problem.

Don't know what happened when the driver lost ip, or why. But now the problem is solved.
