 I need to define the on and off time (pulse width and interpulse width) of the asynchronous pulse generator on the Siemens HMI in such a way that the hours and minutes are separate, meaning I can enter, for example, 2 hours and 40 minutes for the on time, and the same for the off time, but I don't understand the type of addressing.

Can anyone help me ?

Explanation what I did...

Firstly you do need to declare variables to be used. Go to "Tools" -> "Parameter VM Mapping..."

Think that 2 hours and 40 minutes is a total of 160 minutes.

In my program you can simulate, open Data Table -> in VW0 write 160 and in VW2 write 160 as well.

DONE! 

You can see that the total time will be 160 min = 2 hours + 40 minutes.

You can change also the time base. Declare as follows in "Tools" -> "Parameter VM Mapping...":

If you write in VB4 number 3 means (h:m) 

If you write in VB4 number 2 means (m:s)

If you write in VB4 number 1 means (s:ms)
