Controlled Pressure Fill

Skip Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm currently working on a project to build a pressure test rig. I'm building a program where I can set the setpoint pressure and a duration timer. I planned to use a Sitrans P Series Z 0-25 Bar pressure sensor to record the pressure. With this sensor (0-10v) is the best resolution that I can achieve 0.025 Bar? Upon filling, i wanted to slow the fill rate down for the last 0.5 Bar, to allow the system to settle. I've looked at using a PID, but that would require a vent valve. Correct? Could I use an Analog Ramp? And how do I control the valve. I've looked at the PWM but couldn't get it to work properly. Many thanks in advance,

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, read the LOGO! manual carefully! LOGO! does not support PID. Only PI is supported. You can use the PI-controller directly to controll a 0..10V valve, or you can use the PWM for digital control of a valve. To change the SP of the PI controller via TD or Onboard display is no problem. Hope this helps
