Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	I never used protool pro so its a very *** question :) Hi, can i use a usb-rs485 (siemens) cable for protool runtime ? where do i select it ? (from set pg/pc interface? ) thanks

Then you can copy the file to an USB stick andyou can open the file(like exe-file) on the PC which the project should run. For a connection from a PC RT to an S7 PLC, you set the S7ONLINE access point in the "Set PG/PC Interface" utility. This becomes available when you install WinCC Flexible RT. If the connection is to a non-S7 PLC, then I do not think that you can use a Siemens PC adapter.
