wireless interface between ASi and Profibus using the Scalence W788-1Pro

I've seen this and few other items on this website about wireless I/O Comms. The AS Interface System manual refers to a wireless interface between ASi and Profibus using the Scalence W788-1Pro however this does not mention cycle time for the system, Nor does the operating instructions for the W788 module (This points to an unused location on the site). I want to know what kind of delays I will incur if I use one of these modules from a Sensor being made to when the Process image is updated in the controller. Can anyone help me? |
