Adding Variables into Alarm Messages

Johnny D Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, Does anyone know if there is a way in TIA Portal of configuring an alarm to contain a variable from a tag in the message. For example in WinCC Flexible you could complete the following: "Text Information <tag tag_name> " if the value of tag_name was an integer for example its value would be displayed in the message. As soon as you began typing <tag in the discrete alarm text field it pulled up a box that would allow the tag to be specified. I am using a KTP600 color screen in TIA Portal and it does not seem to behave as per WinCC Flex. Any help would be appreciated Cheers John
