As TomDeWou asked, have you made parallel installation of WinCC Flexible 2008 and WinCC Advanced v11? I fear if you have pressed Simulation button in TIA Portal v11 or manually you tried opening the *.fwc file in WinCC Flexible Runtime Simulator? Attachment WinCC RT Adv Simulator.JPG (1015 Downloads)

The following are listed in my HMI Tools:- OPC XML Manager Simatic Prosave WinCC Flexible Runtime Simulator WinCC Runtime Advanced Simulator I have not installed parallely but WFC 2008 was installed earlier. I have pressed Simulation button in TIA Portal and I have not opened .fwc file manually. Please help. Regards Revathy

In that Go to File -> Connecting to runtime, specify the correct *.fwc and check if it works. Unistallation of WinCC Flexible may help but not too sure, so if the above doesn't help then contact the Online Support by opening a Support Request -> press here for Support Request
