WINCC Basic connect to PLC

Hari Seldon Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hey, I'm really new in the PLC buisness and I got lost in all the different WinCC software. I want to create a simple HMI that will talk to my PLC. I have TIA with wincc basic. Can I connect wincc basic to live PLC ? And I can't what software I need ?

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello, Yes you can communicate with WinCC V11 to a PLC. You must create a connection with the parameters of your Panel and your PLC. You can see this in the chapter 2.3.4.7 in the following manual. WinCC Basic V11.0 SP2 You can find examples of WinCC V11 in the following link.
