SUNIL NATH S Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	How can I import ".xlsx" tag file into TIA's HMI part? Note:- Here, I have ".CSV" tag file, which I exported from WinCC flexible. Now, I want to import those tags present in ".CSV" file to TIA's HMI Tags folder. If the ".CSV" file has to converted into ".XLSX" type in the sense, Please tell the correct steps to convert the ".CSV" file into ".XLSX" file.

SUNIL NATH S Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear Pegia, I have tried with WinCC Tag Converter, to convert the ".CSV" file got from WinCC Flexible Advanced. But, the Tag Converter itself saying that, 0 tags were converted. Still, we got one ".xlsx" file after the conversion operation. Then, I tried to import the same ".xlsx" file into TIA's HMI Tags part.But, I got error message from TIA. Note:- I have attached all the file snap shots during conversion for your reference. Can you explain us, with steps are you doing? I think that the firsts step was: 1 - Open a WinCC flexible project 2 - Export the tags as .csv ... But howwere the next?

SUNIL NATH S Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear Pegaia, I have clearly mentioned that, while converting the ".CSV" file itself, the WinCC Tag Converter was giving report like, "0-Zero" Tags were converted. Even though, the Tag Converter making one ".XLSX" file with zero tags. Note:- I have attached the ".CSV" file & ".xlsx" file (Got from WinCC Tag Converter). Please try to convert the ".CSV" file with the WinCC Tag Converter and guide me to import it into TIA. Please guide me, If I am wrong in any step. Steps I followed:- 1. I exported the Tags list from WinCC Flexible Advanced. 2. I got one ".CSV" file. 3. Then, I convert the same ".CSV" file to ".xlsx" file with the help of WinCC Tag Converter. 4. I got error reort from WinCC Tag Converter like "0- Tags were converted". 5. But, At the output path location, I found one ".xlsx" file which is created by the converter. 6. I tried to import the ".xlsx" file into TIA and got error message like "No Tags Found". Attachment For Pegaia.zip (797 Downloads)

Ganes10 Platinum Member Joined: 8/31/2010 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 1523 Rating: (229)	Hello SunilNath S, The WinCC Tag Converter can convert only .asc, .dif, .sdf files (STEP 7 format and it's not WinCC Flexible format).into a .xlsx file- refer enclosed. That's why you are not successful with the converison. btw what panel do you use in WinCC Flexible? You can directly migrate your WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 project into a TIA Portal v11 project. hardik.012 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	There is no need to convert CSV file to any other. HMI can directly import the file you just need to giv the right path. Try using vb script if the import is on time basis OR use SCHEDULER u hav configured a button to import/export. Try using RECEIPE_VIEW.

SonNH Posts: 50 Rating: (1)	Dear all I don't know your problem is solved or not, but i write my solution hope this help. First, you try to export tag from TIA to .xlsx file. Open this file, you see its format (column, title). Now open your .csv file then do some steps to make it have the same format (Adr, name tag...). Finally, save file as .xlsx. Now you can import it to TIA.
