After repeated project downloads or change of the IP address in RUN after a Power Cycle, the CPUs can change to the factory Test Mode. If a CPU starts in Test Mode, the hardware must be returned to the factory for repair. The CPU will indicated the Test Mode by permanent illumination of the yellow RUN/STOP LED, permanent illumination of the red ERROR LED and blinking of the yellow MAINT LED. The FW Update corrects this problem. Please note: The firmware of a V3 S7-1200 CPU can be updated via the integrated web server of the CPU or via FW-Update memory card. To perform the update via the web server of the S7-1200 CPU, the web server must be enabled. After a successful login the firmware can be updated via the menu item "Update Firmware". Overview of S7-1200 CPU order numbers for which this FW-Update is of relevance: Note: The software is subject to export restrictions, a download is only available to registered users.

Saurius Posts: 28 Rating: (0)	Thank you Pegaia, I suppose that firmware update is not possible because of hardware modifications in s7-1200 cpu's... I mean, 1214 cpu with firmware v2.2 has different internal circuitry compared to 1214 cpu firmware v3.0...
