software redundancy stuck when one rio powered down (four rio in system)

truddles Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	By powering down one RIO sometimes the plc software redundancy gets "stuck". The master reports error 8015 Redundant-backup link failure. Check hardware. from FB101 and the reserve reports error 8090 Specified logical base address invalid: There is no assignment in SDB1/SDB2x or there is no base address. The redundant link between the two plc's remains broken until I restart thereserve. Then everything clears up. If I restart the master nothing happens, the same errors are reported. This only seems to happen if I turn off power to a RIO. As soon as power is removed, the other three RIO fail over to the reserve plc. When I power on the one RIO it is on the wrong PLC (not with the other three. Looking at the software redundancy status word, it looks like the software redundancy is stuck in a master-reserve changeover state and that the communications over the redundant link are broken. We have tried replacing the cable. The redundant link is over the MPI on the cpu317-2dp. Any help on why this is happening or how to recover without operator intervention is appreciated.
