Hello APS_84 Siemens has created the "PCS 7 Industry Library". In this library there are a sort of interface blocks present. For each APL typical like a MotL or ValveL there is an interface block. This interface block generates tags to be used in WinCC Flexible. Included in the library are also blockicons and faceplates for WinCC Flexible. They are a "simple" representation of the normal WinCC blockicon and faceplates. The advantage is that you can use APL blocks in PCS7 and use both WinCC as WinCC Flexible at the same time. The best news is that you get a free runtime license every time you buy a PCS7 AS system. You only need to buy the engineering software (V8.1: 6DL5410-8AX18-0YA0) once. |
