Hi Juding, You can check the following link: Solutions to check solutions for your problem. You did not use WinCC duplicator have you? Are the user names + passwords identical to the ES and OS servers?Did you run Simatic Rights program to setup your system for security and sharing? Do you work with RDP (Remote Desktop Connections). Make sure only one user is logged in. PCS7 cannot handle two sessions What you can do is to stop and start the WinCC server in SQL Configuration studio (What PCS7 version do you use?). Below is a solution of one of the forum members. You can try this method too: I had also the error: database context does not exist or is invalid. It was a project which I was working on frequently and somehow I got the error. From others treads I made up that the database is not been closed correctly. I used the WinCC Project Scanner to solve the problem. You can find the program here. You don’t have to archive the project with the Project Scanner but only select the project and the program will move back the project and separate the database. Exit the project scanner and open the project with the error. In my case it solved the problem and I was able to open the project again. |

OK, Then you are in the wrong forum. I'm sure if you follow the manual, everything should be in order. What you can try do to is to create a new project with the same project name and copy the new created files: <projectname>RT.mdf and <projectname>RT.idf to the original project. Before you do so, please execute the command: "reset_wincc.vbs" by Start->Run in Windows. It will exit all WinCC applications. Sound like a corrupted project. With this method, you will lose runtime data, but you don't have any as I recall. I'm not understanding your post completely-> about usernames and passwords, but make sure that user names and passwords are equal on all stations (ES,OS etc.). |
