SIWREX MS: What is the lifebit_error?

When the siwarex not response is set the lifebit_error and the lefbit_counter is 0. because stopthe lifebit_counter? What is the lifebit_error? Please response me. Best Regards.

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 10/15/2024 Posts: 1147 Rating: (175)	Dear Sebastian_NLS The Lifebit-Error is active, if there is no communication between the Siwarex MS module and the S7-200 PLC. Every 500ms, the communication is checked from the library "MicroScale" into the S7-200 pogram. If the Siwarex MS module is not answering during these 500ms, the Lifebit-Error appears. You must control the parameters “First_AEW”, “Second_AEW”, “Third_AEW”, Fourth_AEW”, “First_AAW”, “Second_AAW”, “Third_AAW” and Fourth_AEW” of the library: These parameters must have thecorrect periphery-addresses from the Siware MS module. Sebastian_NLS Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Hello, thanks for the reply, the program on the PLC its works, eventually appear the error, and the in/out addres its set correctly. but switch off the machine and the program works again. the cicle program is max= 20mS So, because other reason appear the error? i detect than the lifebit_counter is 0 when the error appear. exist any bit or"order" than "acknoledge error" or "Reset" Siwarex? i cant find. Best regards.

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 10/15/2024 Posts: 1147 Rating: (175)	Dear Sebastian_NLS, Another reason can be, that you didn’t deactivate the Analog Input filters from the Analog Input addresses, which the Siwarex MS is using. This is very important! You can find an abridgement from the Siwarex MS manual into my reply. There you can find into the chapter 8.2 how to deactivate the Analog Input filters. You can find the whole manual into the internet at the address: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22408486/133300 There exist no reset or acknowledge bit for reset the lifebit-error. So, the acknoledge command ( acuse de fallo) exist? Exist any update or hotfixof the firmware or the microescale library that have the acknoledge bit or any other new? Best Regards. Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 10/15/2024 Posts: 1147 Rating: (175)	Hello, There exist no acknowledge command into Siwatool.The error message means, that the module did a reset.There is no update of the firmware or library. The cause is, that you have EMC-problems at the plant! PLEASE CONTROL THE FOLLOWING POINTS: 1. There is a relation between the appearance from the error and starting or switching a device in the switch cabinet, e.g. - Starting from a motor or a frequency converter- Switching from a contactor 2. The pin to the right of the "SEN-"-pin (the pin with the returned "T"-sign) must not be connected! See also the attached file “AGND.jpg”. 3. The cable shield should be connected to the ground terminal (6ES5728-8MA11) nearly to the MS. The other end from the cable must be connected to the EMC-cable-gland (cable-gland is metallic, not plastic!) from the junction box. The junction box must have contact to the ground. 4. Seperate the power voltage cables from the control voltage cables (24VDC power supply, load cell cable, ...) 5. Ensure, that there is a long distance as possible between power-devices (e.g. contactors, frequency converters) and the Siwarex MS module in the switch cabinet.
